Dr Simon Zhou grew up in New Zealand and graduated from the renowned University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction and was honoured with multiple awards, including the Prestige Scholarship in Dental Surgery.

Originally trained in New Zealand and now practising in Australia, Dr Simon is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where patients of all ages feel at ease, with a passion for providing gentle, patient-centred dental care. Prior to dentistry, he was an experienced Pharmacist, giving him a strong foundation in healthcare and a deeper understanding of patient care, communication, and attention to detail. This further strengthened his ability to explain treatment options clearly and provide holistic care tailored to each patient’s needs.

He enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment, with a focus on building long-term relationships and promoting positive dental experiences. He values taking the time to listen to each patient’s concerns and goals.
Dr Simon has a strong interest in all aspects of dentistry, and highly values restoring both function and aesthetics in a patient’s smile, helping patients achieve excellent oral health while feeling confident in their smile.

He is committed to continuing professional development and always staying up to date with modern techniques and evidence-based dentistry.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Simon enjoys keeping up to date with the latest developments in the automotive world, travelling, spending time with family, and exploring the Mid North Coast.
