Karen is a dual-qualified Dental Therapist and Registered Dental Hygienist with over 20 years of clinical experience in oral health care. Passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes, Karen combines advanced clinical knowledge with a calm, compassionate approach that helps patients feel confident and comfortable in her care.

Karen was among the first hygienists in Australia trained to use the revolutionary Airflow system and has worked alongside leading clinicians in some of Sydney CBD’s premier dental practices, as well as within a holistic dental practice in Queensland.

Beginning her career in children’s dentistry, Karen’s scope evolved into advanced adult care with a strong focus on Periodontics, Dental Implants and Orthodontics. She is committed to ongoing education and is currently expanding her expertise through further study in Sleep Medicine and the oral microbiome — reflecting her deep interest in the connection between oral health and overall wellbeing.

Outside the practice, Karen embraces the Port Macquarie lifestyle and can often be found running, swimming or cycling along the coastline and open outdoors she now calls home.
